The house

A department store with its own supply desk

MODA TREID LIMITED TOV opened in 2024 at 96 vul. Sumska in Kharkiv. The name covers retail and wholesale in clothing, shoes, and interior textiles, and the running of a family department store.

A household can dress from coat to shoe, leave a window measure with the atelier, and skip a second street. A buyer takes men’s and boys’ clothing by the carton from the same stock. Oleksii Melnychenko keeps the desk for letters and calls.

Trade lines

Six counters, one catalogue

Each line is a counter on Sumska. Retail tickets and wholesale lots are written separately.

01

Retail family clothing

Men’s, women’s, and children’s garments sold as full collections on the ground floor.

02

Wholesale men’s and boys’ clothing

Shops order jackets, shirts, and boys’ pieces by the lot from the rear desk. Stock is the house’s own, without a city middleman.

03

Wooden shelves of leather town shoes, boots, and derbies in black, brown, and tan

Retail shoes

The shoe wall sits beside the clothing aisle: oxfords, boots, and children’s pairs from floor stock, chosen with the wardrobe.

04

Retail draperies and upholstery

Ready curtains, portieres, and covering fabrics sell by the panel or the metre. The same counter books the atelier for a cut length, lining, or braid.

05

Wholesale stockroom with boxed goods, hanging garments, and stacked folded textiles on a wooden table

Wholesale nondurable goods

The house also wholesales everyday non-food goods. Orders leave in cartons from the rear counter; ask for a stock list before you travel.

06

Department store

Clothing, shoes, home textiles, and small household goods share one ticket desk and one address on Sumska.

Sample board

Curtains cut in the house

Cloth is measured, cut, and hung from the upper counter at 96 vul. Sumska, not from a partner workshop across town.

  1. A

    Window measure

Bring opening sizes, or book a measure. Drop and fullness go on the ticket before cloth is cut.

  2. B

    Cloth and lining

Linen, velvet, and upholstery weaves come from house bolts. Lining is added when the window faces a bright street.

  3. C

    Hang and trim

Finished curtains leave with heading tape, tie-backs, or braid as marked. Portieres follow the same board.

Buyer desk

Wholesale from the same house

Retail and wholesale share the building, not the ticket. A family purchase is written at the floor desk; a carton of men’s or boys’ clothing, or other goods, at the rear. Name the line in your letter.

Visiting

Come to Sumska, write before a trade visit

96 vul. Sumska, Kharkiv, 61000 is the only public address. Retail clothing and shoes sell on the floor. Wholesale pickups and atelier measures need a call so the rear desk is staffed.

Do not assume a Saturday wholesale window without asking. Oleksii Melnychenko answers +380976647327 and oleksiimelnychenko@modatreidlimitedtov.org.

Notes

Questions the desk hears first

Can I buy a coat and order curtains on the same visit?
Yes. Clothing and shoes are on the ground floor; drapery sits upstairs. A made-to-measure curtain still needs a window size before cloth is cut.
Do wholesale lots use the same rail as retail?
They draw from the same stock, but the ticket is different. Collect cartons from the rear desk. A family size is not a carton price.
Do you sew garments, or only curtains?
The atelier is for curtains, portieres, and upholstery lengths. Ready clothing is sold finished. We do not recut a coat.
Is there a second warehouse in another city?
No second public address is listed. Stock and the cutting table are at 96 vul. Sumska. If a lot must be packed, say so in the letter.
Who should I write?
Oleksii Melnychenko. Use the phone or house email and name the counter you need.
